Attorney Adrian Mark Baron is a principal partner in the law firm of Podorowsky Thompson & Baron.  A resolute defender of client rights, Attorney Baron has represented clients in every G.A. courthouse across the state of Connecticut. Celebrating his 20th year of law practice, he has represented clients on a myriad of matters from infractions to felony murder cases.  Attorney Baron's practice areas include criminal defense, personal injury, real estate closings, and probate matters.

A graduate of New York's Pace University School of Law, Adrian served as a member of the Pace Law Honor Board and as President of the Barrister's Guild.  He continued his studies at Jagellonian University in Krakow, Poland where he received a Certificate in International Business Law & Trade. (Founded in 1364, it is among Europe's oldest universities and includes Pope John Paul II and Copernicus as alumni).  As an undergraduate, Adrian was an inaugural recipient of the Manhattanville College Castle Pin award.  ​Prior to joining our law firm, Adrian served as an Assistant to the Director of a nationally renown New York litigation clinic.

Attorney Baron has been named a Super Lawyer's Rising Star five times, a distinction awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys in the region.  His legal blog, the Nutmeg Lawyer, was recognized as one of the top blogs in the nation by the American Bar Association.  He has served as a moot trial judge for the University of Connecticut School of Law and the Connecticut Bar Association's Consortium for Law & Citizenship Education Trial Competitions.

 

Serving both Republican and Democrat administrations, Attorney Baron was appointed as the Chairman of the Ethics Commission, the Economic Development Commission and the Charter Revision Commission for the City of New Britain. ​​​

His community efforts have been recognized with the City of New Britian's Medal of Merit, the All American Community Award and Polish American Foundation's Community Service Honors.  He was presented with the flag of the Republic of Poland from the President of Poland due to his efforts on behalf of Connecticut's Polish community.

Adrian is fluent in Polish and can provide legal consultations in the language at the client's request.  He also speaks conversational Spanish.
