ATTORNEY DAVID L. THOMPSON

Attorney David L. Thompson serves as the managing partner of Podorowsky, Thompson & Baron. Attorney Thompson brings a depth of experience to his clients that includes work as a representative for labor unions. Mr.Thompson's practice concentrates on civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury matters, probate and workers compensation.

Over the years he has won millions in damages for his injured clients and has a high success rate in matters before the Appellate Court.  His practice in criminal defense has included felony murder cases including State of Connecticut v. Kamil Zielinski, a high profile axe murder case

where there was a finding of not guilty by reason of insanity.

A graduate of Ohio State University, Attorney Thompson received his

Juris Doctorate from the Western New England School of Law (1977)

and holds a Masters Degree in Labor Relations from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (1982). He is admitted to practice law before

the state bars of Massachusetts and Connecticut.

 

Dave remains active in his community and is an accomplished musician. He has appeared as a guest speaker on CNN Affiliate Radio Programs and has been interviewed by various media outlets.  Attorney Thompson has served as a judge for the Connecticut Bar Association's Consortium for Law & Citizenship Education Trial Competitions.
